Douglas Hoffman Principal
Douglas Hoffman has been working in the field of consulting, to improve the performance of successful companies, since 1996.
A frequent public speaker, he has authored and delivered trainings on subjects ranging from leadership development, sales/sales management, sustainability, team building, strategic planning, and key employee retention. He has delivered training to individuals and to groups of 10-300 participants. His audiences include: non-profit boards, the NY State Bar Elder Law Section, accounting firms, real estate firms, school boards, the leadership teams of numerous corporations, communities, and other organizations.
According to Douglas, "Generating results beyond the ordinary demands clarity of vision and a willingness to take on what appears impossible. In our work, we distinguish both the intended outcomes and the barriers that appear to interfere with achieving these outcomes. This work produces results that are profound, visible and unprecedented."
Douglas lives in Woodstock, New York and is the father of a 20 year old daughter and a 17 year old son. He has long been involved with charitable organizations. In the past year this work has included developing and delivering programs for MDI, Fiver Children's Foundation and PENCIL. His work with the US Green Building Council has been instrumental in generating the now universal distinction "Green Building." Douglas is an avid bicyclist, riding 3000-5000 miles annually. He is currently planning and training to ride the Race Across America in 2015.

In his own words:
"For me, business is about being of service- period. The name of the game, though it has certainly become obscured over time, is to find out what's wanted or needed and provide it. That's business, that's commerce, that's the way to really have the world work... If you're providing something of value to the world, and conducting yourself (and your business) with integrity, you will be successful."
"When your 'work' is a real contribution that you absolutely love to make, the whole distinction between 'work' and 'play' begins to collapse and be rendered nonsensical."

Paul currently lives in Buffalo, NY, spending his non-'work' time reading (mostly philosophy), writing, enjoying the arts and being with (and loving) his amazing girlfriend, friends and family.
